🪔 Is 41Mm Watch Too Big

The standard for most men is around 40–42mm (medium). In general, if the circumference of your wrist is 6 to 7 inches, you will want a watch is the small to medium range — around 38–43mm wide. Wrists that are larger than 7 inches can wear watches that are categorized as large — over 43mm. Your wrist will ultimately determine which watch A 41 mm band will lock in place, but the connector won’t extend across the connector slot on the watch, leaving you with a gap. A 41mm band would also look very thin and unbalanced on the watch, but that’s an aesthetic decision. If it’s a matter of finding 45mm bands that are too big for your wrist you’ll have to hunt for extra small I think you might find the 41mm is a little too small looking while the 45mm is a little big. Personally I have a 7" wrist and opted for the 45mm, my previous watches were 40mm and 41mm. While they probably look normal sized, to me they look small. This is the correct answer. Dial size should help your determination. A 41mm watch is big already, and without a big diver bezel or similar design the dial is goofy large. I loved the Explorer39 until I tried it on. For a straight dial the 36-38mm size is the way. BB 58 definitely would have been more comfortable for sure but still I love the color and size of this watch! 3. When I look at it directly on my wrist it looks a bit chunky and big. but from distance or through mirror it seems like it fits nicely on my 6.5 inch wrist For someone with a larger wrist 40mm watch will look like a toy watch. Whereas for someone with thin wrists 45mm might look a little comical. If a 40/41mm watch looks and feels good to you, what anyone else says is irrelevant. Yeah people who say this have never been in a regular watch store, most watches are huge. At walmart online the 41mm is $349, but I ended up paying about $340-345 after using my credit card (cash back) The 51mm costs about $425. None look bad. I’d pick 45mm, but if you’re leaning towards 41, it’s not a bad choice. 41 looks classy. I would go 41. 45 looks like its lifting off your wrist on the ends. Like some people, I think 45 is a little too big and 41 is a little too small. From what I can tell, most people on here err toward bigger being better since more screen makes a smart watch “better.”. I tried on a 41mm today and it probably fits my smaller wrists better than 45mm, but I still think it looks a little — pardon me — more I have 6" wrists. I consider 38mm ideal, 40-42mm acceptable for non-dress watches, and over 42mm too large. I believe I'm 6.0" and the Speedy Pro definitely looks large on me, but I don't think it's excessive (maybe I'm wrong and no one has told me that I look ridiculous). 39mm also looks ok (to me). Thanks for all the suggestions, many of them great, but most out of spec in one way or another (too big or too small generallythat 39-41mm is a really hard limit learned from experience. Or the indices are not my preference). And I'm looking for a black bezel, which I didn't state earlier so far, the ones that seem to hit all (or nearly all): So, to reiterate, the watch at left, the 15400 is your standard Royal Oak at 41mm and the watch at right, the reference 15450 is a brand new option. It does, of course, come in steel and without diamonds, and actually wears quite well on a man at 37mm just like the 37mm Royal Oak Offshore from two years ago ( seen live here ). Slightly too big. The 40mm would look better. I would say yes, I have a 165mm wrist and I went with a 44mm series 6 and after wearing it and using it for a few months I feel it's a bit big , just pre ordered a 41mm series 7 , will get it on Friday so will see if that's a better size. As my watch collection continues to grow, the Hydroconquest is the one that goes with me for most of my outdoor activities whether it’s hiking or swimming in the ocean. It’s been a little over a year and it still runs around +4 seconds a day which I’m thrilled with. The 41mm just doesn’t look right on your wrist, the lugs almost overhang your wrist, which makes it a little ‘show-offy’. An OP should be elegant, not showoff. I’d definitely opt for the 36. The 36 fits you better. The 41 looks like a little kid wearing his dad’s watch. That’s silly big on you, bro, no disrespect. Well, a smart watch usually requires a bit more space than a regular watch, so I think this is OK. Definitely shouldn't have gone for the 45 as the 41 is already a bit big on you. The trend in later years have been larger and larger watches, but what I've gathered from watching the people who are a bit more in the know on various channels, the 4NNbRF.
